Family Fun

Landon and I arrived home today after a week long trip to Calgary. We are glad to be home with Jason, but sad to leave the family in Calgary. I had a wonderful time this week. For the first half of the week i stayed with my Uncle Ken and then the last few days I stayed with my Auntie Judy and Uncle Brian. We had a few family dinners with everyone together, one last night at "The Lodge", where my grandparents have just moved.

My grandparents used to live in Radium Hot Springs, which is an absolutely beautiful part of BC. With my grandma's health, they decided it would be better for them to be in Calgary and so they moved into a retirement community just in the last few weeks. It is a big change for them, since they moved from a 7 bedroom home to a 2 bedroom suite. And it was really different for us visiting them there and having dinner in a common dining area. But, I think once they get a little more used to it, it will be a good change. They were able to bring their puppy with them, so that made things a little easier. And now they are really close to family.

Abby and I spent most of our days with our cousins. We had such a wonderful time with them...shopping, driving around Calgary, going to the zoo, and just hanging out and chatting. I am so thankful for our relationships with them and how much fun we have when we are together.

I truly enjoyed all of the time spent with family and we took lots of pictures of Landon with everyone...so here they are for you to enjoy!
