9 Months Old

It is truly hard to believe that 9 months have passed since Landon came into our lives.  He will be 9 months old at the end of the week!

Here are some of the recent milestone's in our little boy's life:

- he has been on 12 airplanes in his 9 months of life

- he has 2 teeth and more on the way

- he is still only army crawling, but I think walking might come before crawling...we'll see.  Landon has started to walk along furniture and he loves to walk across the room holding our hands!

- he is making WAY more sounds and A LOT more noise!!!

- he is napping twice a day and sleeping 8pm-7:30am 

- all he does is move!  He will hardly sit still anymore - he tries to get to everything!

- he is now just about 17 lbs, maybe a little more

- he is finally fitting in some 6-9 (and 6-12) month clothes!!!  (I have begun to pack away some of his 3 - 6 month stuff)  I am finding he is going through quite the growth spurt right now and all of sudden one day stuff doesn't fit him!

- he definately has some allergies (we are in the process of trying to get some testing done) I am not able to give him anything with even a trace of milk or soy milk in it.  I tried an arrowroot cookie one day at a friend's house and he got such a bad tummy ache and had not fun diapers!  And then I tried soy yogurt one day and that wasn't very fun either!

- he reaches out for us now, when he wants up and when he wants to go from me to Jason or vice versa

-he pulls himself to standing on toys

-can pull himself to sitting from lying down

-he gets really excited at things now...squeals with delight and waves his arms up and down!  

-Jason had to lower the crib because Landon was starting to learn to pull himself up on the edge!

WOW - I'm sure there is more, but that's what I can think of now!  We are so thankful for our little boy and just love watching all of these changes happen!  We are having so much fun and look forward to all that is ahead!!  I can't believe that in 3 months we will have a one year old!  That doesn't seem possible!
