Today, immediately after he woke up from his nap, Landon walked right over to the window, climbed up on his chair and watched the snow! He stands there and watches it for long periods at a time!
Well, we were supposed to be driving to Seattle on Tuesday morning, but plans have now changed. The weather seems to have stranded my dear cousin in Portland and now she is stuck there trying to get back to Calgary, and Seattle is supposed to just get MORE snow, so we have all decided that we aren't going to make the trek. Its a bit disappointing, as we were going to spend the time with my mom's side of the family, and spend Christmas eve morning remembering my Auntie Dianne. We will now be apart from that side of the family again this Christmas eve, and so that will be a bit hard. But we hope that we will be able to see them again in the near future!
Only 3 more days until Ben and Kare arrive!!! YEAH!!! I am so excited about all the Christmas activities this week...Christmas eve dinner with the Pue family, Christmas day dinner with the Paterson family, sisters annual Boxing day shopping trip, our annual Paterson/Pue/Fielding/Witt trip to the Christmas train, and just time spent with family and friends!
I want to wish all of you a wonderful Christmas!! Enjoy the snow, the smiles, the laughter, the remembering, the moments of quiet, the moments of craziness but most of all the birthday of our Jesus! Blessings to all of you!!

Great post Kristin. My brother got stranded for 24 hours trying to fly home and ended up catching a bus! The weather has sure bunged up plenty of travel plans....we're just praying we'll be able to make the trip over there!
