The Letter "H"

So, this "game" has been going on through a number of blogs lately, and my fellow blogger, Christy gave me the letter "H".   I have to tell you 10 things I love that start with the letter "H".  So here it goes:

1) HUSBAND - I love my husband! I am so thankful for Jason...he is definately my perfect partner.  He is so supportive, encouraging, ready to help at any time, and I could go on and on.  I love the way he interacts with not only our son, but our friends' children.  He truly loves all of them.  He is such a hard worker, sometimes to the point where he overdoes it and works too much!, but he provides for us and we are very blessed.

2) HEAT - I like the heat...I would way rather be hot than cold!  I love the heat of the sun, the heat of a fire.  I just like being warm!

3) HAAGEN DAZ - I love ice cream!  Haagen Daz bars are one of my favourites, but I really like almost any kind of ice cream.  My favourites are the almond bars from Haagen Daz, candy cane ice cream or peanut butter chocolate ice cream!

4) HOLIDAYS - I love holidays of any kind!  I love holidays like Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving and all of the wonderful times spent with family and friends!  But I also love holidays where you get to go away!!! As a child we went on family holidays quite a bit, and I loved the time away.  Now, I love going on holidays with my hubby, with friends or family!  Especially when its somewhere warm!!

5) HIM - By Him, I mean God.  I Love God and I'm so thankful for His presence in my life and the life of my family.  I am thankful for the ways that I have seen Him move in the lives of my family and friends and for the peace that He gives in the hard times.

6) HOPE - I am thankful for the Hope that comes with knowing Jesus.  I love that we always have hope, no matter what.  And that we can share that hope with others.  The hope that is there even when it feels like its not possible!

7) HELLO'S - I love Hello's...I don't love goodbyes.  Having so much family that lives far away, I always look so forward to the times when we get to say "Hello" rather than goodbye!  The Hello's are full of looking forward to the time spent together!

8) HOME - I love Home...being home, coming home, anything home.  I'm definately a homebody.  I do enjoy going away, don't get me wrong, but I always love coming home.  I enjoy the comfort that home brings, the way that home is the one place you always feel safe and secure.  I enjoy making a home and keeping a home.  I am so thankful for my home - a place where I can live and where we can have a family!

9) HEARTY & HOMECOOKED - I love hearty, homecooked meals!  My three favourite that come to mind are: Chili (especially C.W.'s), chicken corn chowder, and slowcooked curried chicken. Mmmm, mmm!

10) HEALING - I love healing.  I have always struggled with this...believing in it, trusting that God can and will heal, but in His way and His timing.  But through the life of a very special boy in my life, God has continually taught me to trust and believe.  And I believe and am thankful for healing, especially the healing to come.
