Phoenix = Oh so Wonderful!

Wednesday morning, bright and early, I left with 5 girlfriends for a trip to Phoenix.  (I am sure you will read this on a few other people's blogs too, so sorry for the repeat!) We piled into the van and drove to Bellingham Airport with a short stop at Starbucks.  We arrived at the airport a bit early, checked in and had time to just sit...and chat...
We got onto the airplane and arrived in Phoenix, walking out into 104 degree weather - I'm not exaggerating.  But it was such a wonderful heat!  We arrived at Tania's parents condo, where we put our stuff in our rooms, went to the grocery store for some food and then got ready for a dinner out at the Cheesecake Factory.  That night we went to sleep, only to wake up the next morning to no schedule....what a crazy feeling that was.  We didn't have any time we had to be somewhere, no one's naps to monitor, no one to feed...it was really strange. We spent some time by the pool and then we hit the ground running for some shopping.  And BOY did we shop! Before we knew it, it was 10pm and we had shopped for 9 hours!  9 hours...we were all a little overwhelmed and exhausted by the end of it!  For the rest of our time there, we spent lots of time relaxing, some more shopping, another few hours by the pool and lots of wonderful chats.  I am so thankful for the time away - it was wonderful to be able to relax and just enjoy each other's company and I truly enjoyed being able to shop and not have a restricted time limit.  It was a great time and I truly am greatful for the opportunity. Here are a few pictures!
