11 Months....and STILL teething...

Yesterday, Landon was 11 months old!  I can't believe how fast the time has gone!  It just doesn't seem real that we are going to have a one year old!  That seems so big!  Part of me just wants him to stay a baby forever!  But watching him grow and learn has been so much fun.
The teething this week has NOT been fun at all!  Landon's top gums are so swollen and bumpy - I can see the bumps of 5 teeth!  One has poked through, one broke through the skin and then went back up, and now looks like it will poke through again. The others are super swollen and I am really hoping that they come through in the near future because I am not sure I want to endure the constant discomfort for much longer.  He will hardly let me touch his mouth, even to put teething gel on.  His shirts are constantly soaking wet because the amount of drool coming out of his mouth is insane!!  And there is always something in his mouth!  It is so hard, because there is only so much you can do, and then you just have to let it be!

Now that its almost November, Christmas is starting to not feel very far away!  This past week, the weather has been beautiful here and I am so thankful for the sunshine!  We have been out on many walks and taken advantage of the beautiful fall weather!  I am starting to get excited because for us, December means that our family starts to come home!  Jon will come back in the middle of December for just over a month, Kare and Ben are hoping to be here for Christmas eve and will stay a couple weeks and Jer and Shar will move home in January!  I am really looking forward to seeing everyone again and to have Jer and Shar back home for good!

Last night we had a wonderful dinner with friends.  Pat got a great video of Landon laughing while playing with the doorstop.  I haven't been able to upload it to blogger, but here is the link: http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=45350825375

I hope you all have a fun Halloween and into November we go!

We totally heard the doorstop from downstairs! That's hilarious! So sorry I didn't make it up to say hello - I sort of dozed off on the couch and had to leave pretty quick to get to my overnight shift at the Fullertons! Next time!!! Do you guys live close? Lea Folstad (oops!) was saying that we should all get together for a games night... what do you think?
