Today I am so happy because we got to see a new doctor for Landon today. Kim had asked her family doctor if he would accept us as patients because I was wanting to switch doctors after everything that had happened. He said that he would take us and I was SO thrilled! We walked in the room today ( I had met him previously from Kim's birth) but he took one look at Landon and said, "He is the spitting image of his dad and his grandpa". Funny thing, he had seen Jason and my father in law speak at a men's retreat about 4 years ago!!! Small world! Anyways, after listening to my whole long story about what has recently happened, the dr checked Landon all over and said that he looked wonderful and seemed to be doing excellent. His weight as of today was 16 lbs 5.5 oz, which means he has gained 3 lbs in the last month or so!!! Crazy to think, but at least he is now on the normal side!! And he was 28 or 29 inches long...I can't remember which! Anyways, I am just so thankful for a fresh start and it feels great to know that we can now hopefully have a doctor that is on our side!!

It's Anita here, Kim's friend! Anyway I just read your post today (obviously!) and thought I'd say that you are very blessed to have him for your doctor! Me and the boys just transferred to him not too long ago and he's been great so far... hope it all goes well for you there. Blessings to your family,

It's amazing how much better that can make you feel! Glad to hear wee Landon is doing well after all he's gone through. He's certainly a beautiful little boy!
Dr. Hansen really is the BEST! So glad little Landon is doing better! 3lbs in a month! Way to go buddy!
