My Poor Little Boy...

Well, it has been quite the week!!  Landon has been teething pretty badly over the last two weeks...this week was particularly tough.  He hasn't been sleeping well and has been quite clingy and whiny - which is unusual for my normally happy boy!  It definately has made for some LONG days.  And then, to top it all off - last night he was up from 1am until 5 am crying - 4 hours!!  That has NEVER happened before.  When we got up this morning, I was very, very tired and not feeling too happy.  Landon wasn't eating well, crying lots and I noticed that he had quite a bit of white on the inside of his lips and on his tongue - he has thrush!  So, we went to the clinic today and got some drops, so I am praying that tonight we have a better night's sleep and that each day begins to get a bit better! 

Yesterday was my 25th birthday!  During the day, Landon and I went with some friends to the zoo for the morning!  It was a bit cold, but it was fun!  We bought year's passes, so we look forward to going lots.  It is such a good deal to get the pass!  Then, we had lunch and we all put the kids down for a nap and we had a great afternoon of girl chatting!  I really enjoyed the day.  Then, in the evening, my MIL came over to babysit and Jason and I got to go have dinner downtown at the Stonegrill with our friends, Kurt & Char!  It was such a fun evening and good food!  When we got home, I went upstairs to change and stopped with a start outside my bedroom door, because on my bed was a brand new bedding set!  My husband had surprised me with brand new bedding (something I've been wanting for a while now!) and a wonderful card from him and Landon.  I was super surprised because I didn't think we were doing gifts this year...funny thing is, that I too, have gotten him a gift that he doesn't know about yet for his birthday in 9 days!  Here is a picture of my new bedding set!!
