Enjoying the Sunshine...

Hello from Palm Springs!  We are having a wonderful time here...unfortunately I forgot my camera cord in order to transfer pictures so those will have to wait until we get home!  We arrived here Thursday morning to 30 degree weather!  SOOOO nice!  We have been having a great time with Jared, Kim and Mathias.  Unfortunately, Mathias, Landon and I have all gotten colds, but the three of us seem to be on the mend.  It definately took Landon a little while to adjust to the heat - he is eating a lot more than normal probably due to the fact that he's thirsty because he's so hot!  And neither Mathias or Landon are sleeping great, but we kind of expected that.  Landon has started to go to bed earlier, which is nice - he was doing his last feed at 10pm, but now he is going to bed about 8:00 or 8:30 and sleeping until around 7am.  Since we have been here, he tends to wake up once during the night for a feed.  He's never slept great in his playpen, but I think he's doing pretty well considering the new environment and the extreme change in temperature!  

We have been enjoying the sun and the pool - Landon just loves the pool and it has been so much fun to play with him!  Mathias loves Landon and runs around all day calling "Landy, Landy"....we get a kick out of it.  If Landon is napping, Mathias stands by the monitor calling "Landy!!".  Both boys nap for a couple hours in the afternoon at the same time, so that has been a time when we enjoy the pool and the sun.  We try to keep the boys out of the sun in the heat of the day, but then we enjoy time with them in the pool later on or early in the day.  

Today we went to the outlet mall and got some great deals!  I wish we could stay here forever!!  But Saturday will come soon enough!  We'll try to bring some sunshine home for all of you!!!
