Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas spent with family and friends. We enjoyed Christmas eve at CLA's service and then dinner with my parents. Christmas morning we woke up and went to my parents nice and early to open presents with them. Landon received a tool bench and a set of power tools from them, and he played with them the whole time - we couldn't get him to open any other presents! Then, we headed over to Jason's parents house, as this year was "Pue Christmas", so we spent the rest of the day over there. My parents joined us for the first little while, as they wanted to see Landon get his present from us, which was a kitchen for his new playroom. Again, he hardly would open up any other presents because he was too busy playing with his kitchen. It was really fun to do Christmas with him at this age - he really enjoyed all the fun! The other night we went down to the Stanley Park Christmas Train, which is a yearly tradition for us, as it is where Jason proposed to me. We had a fun time, and Landon loved the train ride. I didn't get any good pictures there, as it was too dark and I didn't have my good camera with us. Here are a few pictures of Christmas eve and Christmas day though:

I am definately starting to get excited for what the beginning of 2010 is bringing us. We have another 2 weeks and then we will be moving upstairs into our new home. We are doing well in the basement, but I'm definately excited to get upstairs and settle in before baby. Kurt and Char's reno's seem to be going fairly well, so it looks like we will move in sometime between the 13th and the 15th of January. We are going to be doing some painting, but nothing too major.
I am definately feeling "the end" of my pregnancy. I am super uncomfortable as the baby's head is pushing on my pelvis and that is certainly not a great feeling! But I am guessing that these next 6-7 weeks will go fairly quickly as moving upstairs, getting settled, and getting the baby's room all ready will take up much of my time!
Happy New Year to everyone!

Looks/sounds like you had a great Christmas!
Yes, I'm sure the next few weeks will fly by as you move and settle in. We're in the same boat! And I'm counting on all the busyness to make the time fly before the baby comes :)
Just think, pretty soon you'll be in your new house, then welcoming your sweet new son!! Such an exciting time.

... just catching up on my blog reading :-) ... you have been so brave, tackling on so many new adventures in the end of your pregnancy - I'm tired just imagining what that must feel like!! But soon you'll all be settled and the wee one will arrive - and you'll have to change your blog title to "just the 4 of us" :-) ...
