Today we went for our ultrasound - and I love ultrasounds! Seeing that little baby moving around in there, seeing the heart beating, seeing the little fingers and toes and the spine...so exciting! Our midwives recommended we go to Coquitlam for the ultrasound, and they tell you the sex right away if you want to know, and we are sure glad we went there. They were really good. The tech talked me through the whole thing - any other ultrasound I've had the tech has been really quiet and not very friendly. This tech showed me everything the whole way through, as she did all the measurements. Then she asked if we wanted to know the sex, and I said yes, so she told me to close my eyes and she would see if she could get some pictures and then she would bring Jason in. So I did and I heard her say " Ok baby, are you going to cooperate?" and then I heard the click of the camera and "That was easy", and then she went to get Jason. Jason came in and the tech showed him the baby - and boy was it moving like crazy! She had a hard time getting any great pictures because it would stay still. Then, she asked if we had a boy or a girl at home and we said we had a boy and then she said " Well, you are going to have 2!"
So there you have it - we will be welcoming another little Pue boy into our lives in February and we couldn't be more excited. I think it will be so wonderful for Landon to have a little brother! The other thing that happened was she moved my due date up by a week - which I had a suspicion about - so my new due date is Feb. 14, 2010 instead of Feb 21.
