Boxes, boxes and more boxes

So, as of today we own a new house! It was really exciting to get the call from the lawyer that everything had gone through and we now owned our new home! We officially move on Wednesday and Thursday is the day we give over the keys to the new owners of this home. It will be sad to leave this house, but we are super excited for all that is to come. Our house is a bit of chaos right now, as you can imagine, but we are managing! Tonight a friend came over and helped me finish the packing the kitchen, which was the last thing I needed to get done. Now all I have left is the clothes hanging in our closets that I'm going to grab Wed morning and throw in the car, the shoes and coats in the front closet and any last minute bathroom/food items that we will still need for tomorrow. And our beds of course! The hardest part about all the packing is that I've had to pack for 2 different places - the things I want to bring into the suite and the things that will stay stored in the garage until we move upstairs. Here are a few pictures of all the stuff packed:

Landon definately notices that something is going on, but he has been pretty good through this whole process. A lot of the packing had to be done while he was napping or down for the night as he liked to "help" and it was NOT very helpful! I am a bit nervous about all the transition to come, as we will be moving into the suite for the first month and then upstairs and then to top it all off, his brother will be arriving. We have been praying every night that God will continue to prepare his little heart for all that is to come and to give us patience and understanding as we go through it all. I am so thankful that he is a happy little boy and so thankful for all the family and friends we have around whom he loves so much. They have all helped to make the packing/move go that much smoother.
I haven't been sleeping very well as I am very uncomfortable, as the baby has dropped significantly and it is just feeling like "the end". I am trying to be super careful with all the lifting etc, as I find I have major braxton hicks contractions just walking for more than 10 minutes at a time. I am looking forward to being into the suite and hopefully being able to just take time to relax and enjoy Christmas. The move has been such a fast process that it has been hard to take time to enjoy the season!
I will leave you with a picture of Landon and Auntie Shari having some fun together the other night!

Wow, good for you guys! You've accomplished so much, and in a short time too.
We had to do that too - pack for two places at once. Not fun!
I hope you enjoy the suite and get LOTS of time to relax and enjoy the Christmas holiday.
