A Getaway

My hubby has given me a wonderful gift - 4 days away! After some chatting about really wanting to take a bit of time away before I can't fly and before this baby comes, we decided that financially it didn't really make sense for us all to go away at this point. My sisters and I had been trying to plan a trip with my mom, but we couldn't find decent flights for Karalee to meet us and so Abby and I decided that we would still like to make a trip, even though we really wish Kare could be with us. After some quick research and decision making, we decided that Abby, my good friend Katie and I would go to Palm Springs for 4 days! We found a great deal on flights and using my parents timeshare, it just makes the trip so worth it. So, on Sunday morning we are off!
I am so excited and looking forward to the time away just to rest and take a bit of a breather as the next half of this pregnancy kicks in and life changes again!

I am hoping to get a new preggo picture in the next few days! We have been bad at taking the pictures this time...I keep meaning to every week and it just slips away! Hopefully I'll be able to get one a month and that will be good! I am really feeling the baby move and we have our ultrasound booked for Oct 16. I am really looking forward to this - getting a good look at our little one!
