Landon has grown like crazy over the last month. He has outgrown all of his 12-18 month clothes because they are all too short, so I packed them all up (and he wasn't in them for very long!) and have pulled out the 18 month clothes that I have. He has only gained about a pound since I last weighed him (and that's just on our scale) but he has grown at least 1.5 inches! It is so amazing to me how much he has changed over the past little while. He is FULL of energy! I am VERY ready for the weather to get better, because Landon loves to be outside and I find it is so good for him to get out and run around. Everyday, even when its raining, he'll stand at the window or the door and sign "please" because he wants to go outside. He's even gotten his shoes out of the basket and brought them to me!

Landon will be staying with my parents for 4 days and then Jason's parents for 4 days. I am very excited about going on a trip where its just adults and there are no schedules, but I am a bit nervous to leave him for so long. I know he'll be well taken care of and I'm sure spoiled, but I'm guessing I will pay for it when we get back. I've been told that he'll probably ignore me for a while - well, I guess we'll just have to see what happens. But I think it is a much needed time away with everything that has happened over the last few months, and I am praying it will be a refreshing time for both us and K & C.

I am so happy for you guys, that you get to go away! I hope you have an incredible time, with lots of sun, lazy days, healing, and laughter. And shopping of course! :) Have an awesome trip, I look forward to hearing about it and seeing some pics!

i am really surprised how blonde landy is. what a handsome kiddo. really handsome. i think my favorite is the one where i think he has a few teras- it's just so sincere and captures what days can be like some time. love you my friend
