The Journey

These last two weeks, God has definately had us on a journey.  There have been bad days and good days, but I am so thankful for God's peace and for his promises. Some days I have to choose to get up and make the day good, as I'm sure all of you have experienced in one way or another.  I am really looking forward to seeing what God has in store for our family because I know it can only be bigger and better.

I want to say thank you to so many people.  First of all thank you to all of our friends and family who have been praying for us and supporting us in all different ways.  Thank you to all of you who made us a meal; to the friends that were there when I called, no matter what time; to the friends who just knew when to come over or call or just knew when we needed space; and especially for all the thoughts, kind words and prayers.  I am so incredibly thankful for the support we have around us.

Here are a few pictures of what has been happening around here lately:

Landon's first haircut!

Cuddles with Uncle Jer
Judah and Landon - buddies
Judah and Auntie
Landon playing "drums" with all of Grammy's kitchen supplies!

Makena and Landon playing
Jacob and Landon reading a book
A friend of mine, Christy, has done a really fun post on her favourite things for 2008...I am going to think about mine and maybe do a post on that as well! I thought it was a great idea!

Although God's plan may not always turn out as we may have expected, it is always the best plan.

You have risen to this time with such grace and strength. You have met some of your greatest fears head on and you have conquered in His name. I am so proud of you!

Keep choosing each day as better than the day before and you will be astonished at how amazing life will be. All my love C
