On Saturday morning, my Uncle Sam went to be with Jesus. He had been battling brain cancer for the last year or so, and had had brain surgery Friday night and went downhill Saturday morning. Each time I saw him, he was SO positive and knew that no matter when it happened, he would be going to be with His Saviour. I am so thankful that we know where he is and that he has no pain anymore. His wife, son, daughter and son in law were all there with him when he passed away. This picture was taken the last time I saw Uncle Sam - Landon was about 2 weeks old and I'm so glad that he got to meet my son! We will miss you Uncle Sam!

How sad -- but I rejoice with you that he is with our Father. How great it is that we get to meet again one day.
Praying for you as you get ready to leave and deal with all of the emotions of loosing another loved one.
